Historically, the unpredictable and shifting emergence of certain springs was perceived as a language of nature: variations in water flow, sounds and reflections were observed as signs through which to interpret forthcoming changes in climatic cycles.

The project reactivates this practice through a suspended object, built around a rotating axis. At its centre, a metal core contains a volume of augural water.

The user approaches the object with an intention, then sets it in motion. Their gesture resonates with the water, whose movement activates a dialogue between matter and fluid.

As the rotation slows, the water gradually returns to equilibrium. Guided by the internal dynamics of the system, the device's pointer aligns with one of the four cardinal directions. This position becomes a sign: an invitation to glimpse a possible destiny.
